With a talent for writing catchy melodies and a voice that embodies the likes of Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, and Sheryl Crow, it is no wonder that Fiona is able to captivate an audience.

Fiona grew up in Vancouver, Canada in a family of music lovers. At the age of five she started classical piano and by the age of thirteen she found her love for singing. It wasn't until college that she realized her desire for writing songs and performing.

"A song isn't just about melody or lyrics but both. Songs that have great sincerity, beautiful melodies and meaningful lyrics are the songs that people hold forever. I want to write those songs."

After moving to San Jose, California in 2000, Fiona, with acoustic guitar in hand, began performing at local coffeeshops and festivals as well as appearing on community television. Inspired by audience support she dedicated her time to writing in hopes of recording a demo. After one year of recording at Soundtek studios the launch of her debut album produced by herself and well known local musicians and producers Robert Berry and Thom Duell, "Missing You Only" is fast approaching. Her music has been described as a combination of Sheryl Crow, Sarah Mclachlan, and Alanis Morissette but with a folk rock blend.

"A lot of hard work has gone into this CD. It has been my life for the past year. This is what love for music can accomplish."
